Swiss Open 2023
The Racketlon Swiss Open 2023 is unfortunately already history again and history was made. With Sylvain Ternon we have a new winner. In the women's category, Nathalie Vogel was able to take the trophy for the 3rd time.

Congratulations to the winners and thank you all for coming.

See you soon
The date for the Swiss Open 2023 is set.
We are happy to announce the date for the 16th Racketlon Swiss Open. This will take place from 23rd to 25th June 2023 at SIHLSPORTS in Langnau am Albis.

Also this year, for the participation in the Racketlon Swiss Open all participants living in Switzerland (except in the category First Timers and u13) need a valid licence of the FIR (World Federation) as well as a valid licence of Swiss Racketlon.

We are looking forward to you!
We have a new home
After the Vitis SportCenter will unfortunately be demolished next spring, we had to start looking for a new home. We have succeeded in doing so with SIHLSPORTS in Langnau am Albis. Numerous national Racketlon events have already taken place in this centre. But not only that, it was also the venue of the Racketlon World Championship 2021.

We are looking forward to our new home and many participants from all over the world.
The date for the Swiss Open 2022 is defined
We are happy to announce the date for the 15th Racketlon Swiss Open. This will take place from 24th to 26th June 2022 at the Vitis SportCenter.

Due to a change in the regulations, for the participation in the 15th Racketlon Swiss Open all participants living in Switzerland (except in the category First Timers and u13) need beside a valid licence of the FIR (World Federation) also a valid licence of Swiss Racketlon.

We are looking forward to seeing you!
Swiss Open 2021 in Danish hands
The Racketlon Swiss Open 2021 is unfortunately already history and Stine Jacobsen and Morten Jaksland from Denmark are the winners in the Elite. Congratulations.
With Oliver Bühler (Men A Elite), Yannic Andrey (Men A Doubles) and Nicole Eisler (Women A Doubles) 3 Swiss players made it to the Elite podium.

After the Swiss Open is before the World Championships. Already in two months the Racketlon world will meet again in Switzerland. This time for the Individual World Championships at SIHLSPORTS in Langnau am Albis. The registration is open and we are looking forward to you.
Racketlon Swiss Open - well attended
The registration is over and we have no less than 105 participants from all over the world. If that is not a joy. Thank you very much for your numerous registrations.
The Elite Draw will be on Friday 13 August 2021 at 19:00 CET on Facebook. After that, the match scheduling will follow and on Sunday we will know the details of the tournament.
We are looking forward to our Racketlon family.
14th IWT Swiss Open postponed to 20 - 22 August
Due to the current situation around Covid 19, we unfortunately feel forced to postpone the 14th Racketlon Swiss Open into August. This will take place from August 20th to 22nd in the SportCenter Vitis.
We are looking forward to your registrations under: https://fir.tournamentsoftware.com/tournament/51FF8D9B-1B15-48D4-B8BD-B4A6E24F359F
No FIR Champions League at the Racketlon Swiss Open 2021.
Due to the current situation around the Corona Virus, we have decided together with the FIR not to hold the 1st part of this year's Champions League at the Swiss Open 2021. The situation is currently too uncertain to make any serious planning. Whether the Champions League will take place at all this year, and if so, where, will be decided in the coming weeks.
As of today, the Racketlon Swiss Open 2021 will take place as planned.
Swiss Open 2021 - 25 to 27 June 2021
It is time to look ahead again and plan the time after Corona (we hope). So we are already looking forward to the Racketlon Swiss Open in 2021 at the Vitis SportCenter.

So let's get going, add the date to the agenda and hope that we can then hold our beloved tournaments again.
Swiss Open 2020 it was nice
2 super cool and exciting days are over and the Racketlon Swiss Open Light will not only go down in history thanks to the Swiss double victory 😂. Benjamin Gränicher, Nicole Eisler, Martin Abrami, Gaëlle Wavre, Nicolas Champod, Andreas Kern, Alivn Amstein and Nils Morgenthaler are the winners in the individual categories. Congratulations.

We are glad that we were able to hold the racketlon tournament with you all so shortly after the lockdown. Thank you very much for being so numerous. You made the light version a full replacement, thanks.

We'll see each other again next year - then hopefully with all our friends from abroad, because a rumor says that the chances are good that we'll be able to visit the Vitis SportCenter in Schlieren again.

Many thanks to our sponsors who supported us despite the lack of international participants. #head, #gublertischtennis, #yonex, #spiga, #gehriggroup #juliusbaer, #cresoft, #datenpunkt, #MAWE, #onlinedruck, #swisslos, #Chiefs, #hülse und #vitissportcenter
And of course many thanks and our hardworking helpers. Above all Florian Dübendorfer as head of the tournament office, Donato Schneebeli, Mike Wapf and Myriam Stierli. Thank you for your commitment, it was great to have you with us.

The announcement for the Racketlon Swiss Open light has been made and you can register now on the website of Swiss Racketlon. The closing date for registration is 14 June 2020 and the number of the participants is limited.

We are looking forward to you - see you soon at Vitis

With a heavy heart we unfortunately have to cancel the 13th FIR Racketlon Swiss Open. Covid 19 has also put a spoke in our wheel. Unfortunately a postponement to the autumn / winter is not possible due to financial and space reasons.
What remains now is a Racketlon Swiss Open light for all who live in Switzerland.

The plan is as follows:
Friday 26th June from 17:00 hrs: Racketlon doubles tournament (Status today with max. 25 double pairs)
Saturday 27 June full day: Racketlon single tournament (Stand today with max. 50 participants)

In case squash is still only allowed to be played under restrictions until then, we have already thought about it and found practicable solutions. Therefore, all 4 sports or nothing 😀.
Whether we will be able to hold the planned double tournament will become clear at the beginning of June as soon as the next opening steps are communicated by the Federal Council.
Until then we will continue to plan and keep you informed.
Many thanks to our sponsors, who support our light version: #Head, #GublerTischtennis, #Swisslos as well as the numerous supporters (more to come 😀).
See you soon (at least the Swiss guys) in Zurich.

Will the Swiss Open 2020 take place or not? Unfortunately, we are in an absurd situation as organizers, you have probably already noticed it from other events. We are realistic and, despite all hopes and fingers crossed, we no longer assume that we will be able to hold the Racketlon Swiss Open at the end of June in the usual framework. At the moment we are checking a postponement to September and are planning a Swiss Open light version on June 27th, 2020. We will contact you when we know more. Thank you for your understanding and despite everything: Happy Weekend to all of you!
Your Swiss Open Team
